Our very enterprising VPPR, Donald (aka "Organizer of Winners", "Bringer of Pleasant Surprises") organized a BBQ that was held on Sunday evening, December 18th, as a club Fall/Winter/pre-Xmas celebration. The event was well attended by members and we had a couple of special guests as well, in the persons of Liu Yingdan, last year's District 85 Governor, all the way from Shanghai, and Molly Yip, Assistant Division H Governor, all the way from Central. It was staged at the Whitehead Club in Ma On Shan (http://www.whiteheadclub.com/eng/index.html). The ample food offering included delicious scallops and a suckling pig. The evening was a bit chilly but the BBQ fires and the camaraderie warmed everyone. A great time was had by all who attended. In addition to a huge BBQ site, the venue has a golf driving range-- perhaps an opportunity for a future HKTMC outing?
