Contests
2010. We had a full house of audience and a room filled with laughters and fun!

Thanks to all humorous speech contestants who have endeavored to amuse our
audience.
It was a head-to-head contest and everyone in the room has enjoyed your
speeches.
Thanks to all evaluation contestants who have presented their evaluations with
different styles and skills. It was really a great show.
Many thanks to our Chief Judge – Arthur Ting, our panel of judges: Henry Kong
and Chow Yiu Tong from GAP, Royce To from MDC, Aaron Ho, Jo Manning, Paul Wong, and Wendy
Chan from our Club, and contest officials: Ben Fung, Joanne Chuk, KY Tan, Eng Wah
Lim, Peter Ho and Jonathan Mok of Hong Kong Toastmasters for their time and great
efforts!
Special thanks to Akash Karia, our Test Speaker from HKUST Toastmasters Club,
for delivering a motivational and inspirational speech with the title of "How You
Can Use the 'ENTER and KNOCK' Technique to Achieve Your Dreams". Akash is a young,
talented and dedicated Toastmaster. He encouraged us to just go ahead and knock the doors
of CEOs and General Managers, selling our business proposals in the most confident
and direct way. His sharing of personal successful experience with us has totally
amazed the audience.

Our top 2 winners will represent the Hong Kong Toastmasters Club to compete with
other clubs in the upcoming Area G1 Contest on 11 Sep 2010 (Sat) from 4pm - 6pm (venue
to be confirmed). Please show your support to our Club representatives by being there.
