Dear All,
It was another fun meeting with old friends like Joanne, Daniel and Elsa taking up different roles in the meeting.
Our TME, Edwin is a humorous person. Once again, he demonstrated his sense of humor in the meeting. In his introduction of the induction program for new members conducted by Elsa, Edwin says, "As this is a very serious ceremony, we need a lawyer to facilitate the program ...." The audience immediately burst into laughters. Throughout the meeting, it was not difficult to find laughters and chuckles. That's the reason why he was the champion of the humorous speech contest in our club in Sept 09!
In the induction session, it was nice to hear the goals of new members for joining toastmasters. I sincerely hope that all of them will achieve their goals in the near future!
On the evaluation side, I found the evaluation done by Andrew comprehensive and brief. He gave alot of good suggestions to the table topic master and speakers. Here we can see a big difference in an evaluation done by an ACB!
The way of presenting an ah-counter report by Tina was entertaining and I like the grammarian report made by Joanne. It was educational and encouraging.
