We had a full-house meeting on 12 April. I trust you all enjoyed it very much!
In the prepared speech session, Eng Wah shared with us his tower climbing experience. If he could have added more color, smell and sound to his speech, it would have been even better. The Area H2 international speech champion, Shoaib delivered his champion speech on servant's leadership. We all learnt what a servant leader is and see if we could practise it in our workplace or in our daily life. For Shoaib, I am sure he has received alot of constructive feedback from our members, especially from the toastmaster's guru, Malcolm. Hope he can achieve a good result in the upcoming Division contest.
In the table topic session, all the experienced speakers delivered their impromptu speeches without any difficulties. Some even have a message in his/her speech. You could see how difficult the job was for Aaron as the table topic evaluator!
We had 11 guests last night, of which two guests decided to sign up as a member during the meeting.
As we only had two prepared speeches last night, therefore, we only nominated the best table topic speaker, who is Andrew Yeung. Congratulations to Andrew!
