In the Prepared Speech session, Vanessa Lau suggested some strategies to read in her CC Project 4. Jonathan Mok brought us to one of his trips in shopping mall in his body-speaks project. Donald Wong, the best prepared speech speaker at the night, delivered an inspirational speech about pursuit of dreams by using a story of a G/F-to-88/F journey as a metaphor for our life.
If there were opportunities of going back to childhood, would you volunteer? The theme of the meeting was Childhood. In the Table Topic session, Paul Breen, our best table topic speaker in the meeting, told us of several lessons learnt in his childhood. He humorously reminded us to be careful of any free trip by sharing the experience of a painful visit to the dentist with us. Louisa, Susan and Vincent also shared their dreams, conditions and views of childhood with the audience in the session.
In the evaluation session, Asta Lee, the best evaluator in the evening, gave us some suggestions of tackling impromptu speeches.
In addition, we thanked Nat, our Mr Grammarian of the meeting, for introducing “nonversation”, the word of the night, to us.

At the moment of recalling and sharing our cheerful childhood, we should not forget that there are many unfortunate children around the world. Let’s extend our childhood by helping the children who are in need.
