GUEST INTRODUCTION

At the dinner, after tonight's meeting, I asked some of the other members what can we do to help keep the meeting on time.

One member told me, that when she is TME, she normally phones the SAA before the meeting and reminds them not to ask guests to speak. It's enough to ask guests to raise their hand so that members can recognise them.

It must terrify some guests to be asked to speak on their first visit to a toastmasters club.

So, if you're the TME, it might be a good idea to speak to the SAA before the meeting and let them know how to handle the guest introductions.
